About Me

Growing up in Kansas, I spent much of my free time expressing myself through painting and drawing. From a very young age, I had a passion for creating. This passion quickly turned into a way to share the beauty of art with others. I was asked to do my first custom piece when I was eleven years old, and this ignited a desire to allow my clients to preserve the most precious parts of their life through artwork. Instead of an art degree, I pursued a marketing degree at Wichita State University, and I continued to nurture my skills as a self-taught artist throughout school.

Loving art since a young age has allowed me to gain experience in many types of mediums. I love to draw using graphite or colored pencils, but I also enjoy painting with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. I do all types of custom work, but my most popular pieces include dogs, people, houses, landscapes, cars, and botanicals.

Along with my custom pieces, I go to various markets across the Midwest selling prints of my work. My husband and I also love to do live guest painting at various events including birthdays, weddings, corporate parties, and showers. These painted portraits act as a form of entertainment as well as a party favor for the guests.

I hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty in the world, and capture the memories that are cherished the most.
